- Moscow region presented a housing and communal services digitalization project at SPIEF
The Moscow Region presented a large-scale digitalization project in the housing and communal services sector at SPIEF 2026. The regional Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications announced this on Thursday, June 4.
"At the SPIEF, the Moscow Region presented a system that will delete the phrase "we did not know about the shutdown" from the sphere of public utilities," the department said in a Telegram message.
As early as 2026, the new system will integrate 386 water utilities facilities. Telemetry sensors will contribute to this.
It is assumed that such solutions will allow you to "see" the problem even before the residents report, which will radically change the situation. Data from all facilities will be instantly transmitted to the system, notifying about the release of any parameters beyond the established standards.
According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, more than 4 thousand records will accumulate in the housing and communal services Circuit, and one employee will be required per facility. Data on outages will be promptly sent to the Dobrodel, the Unified Book of Complaints and the EDDS.
So far, the housing and communal services in the Moscow region are operating in "manual mode." There is no unified operational control system, data from each intake node is collected by up to 10 people, and utilities often learn about accidents from residents. Launching a digitalization project will save up to 20% of time.
