United Russia supports the position of small businesses on VAT
United Russia supported the position of small business representatives on the issue of paying value-added tax (VAT). This was announced on June 4 by the Secretary of the General Council of the party, Vladimir Yakushev.
According to him, this issue has been repeatedly raised at the meetings of the candidates of the preliminary voting with voters. The topic became the basis for a number of proposals to the New People's Party Program. Yakushev stressed that United Russia considers it necessary to take into account the opinion of entrepreneurs and return to discussing the rules for paying VAT for those who apply the simplified taxation system (STS).
"We are convinced that tax changes for entrepreneurs should be introduced carefully and be the subject of constant monitoring. United Russia insisted on it when introducing these tax innovations," Yakushev said, his words are quoted in the party's Telegram channel.
It is emphasized that at present, when forming the National Program, a large number of appeals from entrepreneurs are recorded, which indicate the enormous impact of this issue on the development of the economic sector. In this regard, the party proposes to review the existing approaches to VAT payment for small and medium-sized businesses using the simplified system.
On June 2, the United Russia Party called for easing the tax regime for small businesses and transparency of any changes in business conditions. Alfiya Kogogina, coordinator of the Entrepreneurship party project and first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, pointed out that when preparing new initiatives, it is important to first analyze the effectiveness of existing support tools.
On April 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law that exempts entrepreneurs from VAT on the simplified and patent taxation systems (USN and PSN) by the end of this year.
