At the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Russian Media Group and Roscosmos Media signed a cooperation agreement. The partnership is aimed at developing joint projects and events, popularizing the achievements of Russian cosmonautics and creating new formats of interaction with the audience. The document was signed by Lyubov Malyarevskaya, CEO of the Russian Media Group, and Vyacheslav Pakholkin, CEO of Roscosmos Media.

The agreement establishes long-term cooperation and the development of joint projects in the field of media and educational initiatives. The focus is on the creation and promotion of popular science content, support for space industry projects, exchange of expertise, as well as the participation of Roscosmos representatives in broadcasts and special projects of the Russian Media Group.

Within the framework of the partnership, special attention will be paid to holding large-scale joint events that will help bring the topic of space closer to a wide audience, involve young people in space exploration and generate interest in engineering and scientific professions.

"The collaboration was a logical continuation of the successful collaboration that we started during Space Week. "The project is the first in space. Cosmo Night" has shown that modern cultural formats can not only unite thousands of people, but also inspire a new generation to be interested in science, technology and the space industry. The signed agreement will allow us to take this interaction to a new level, expand the range of joint projects and create new formats that will tell about the achievements of Russian cosmonautics in a language understandable to a wide audience," said Lyubov Malyarevskaya, CEO of the Russian Media Group.

"The agreement that we signed today is an important step in popularizing cosmonautics. One of the tasks facing the industry today is to attract young people. We see its solution for ourselves, including through the implementation of joint projects with the Russian Media Group. A large media holding, the market leader, which includes the country's popular radio stations and the <url> TV channel.TV, which gives us an additional opportunity to work with all target audiences. And above all, it is with young people," said Vyacheslav Pakholkin, CEO of Roscosmos Media.

One of the first major joint projects was the audiovisual show "The First in space. Cosmo Night", which took place on April 10 at VK Stadium as part of Space Week. The event brought together the history of Russian cosmonautics, stage technology and performances by popular artists, attracting more than 5,000 spectators. The project has become an example of how music, visual art and modern formats can be used to talk about the achievements of the country and the prospects for the development of the space industry.

The partnership will continue to develop this summer. The partners are jointly implementing a new project — a one-day tour to the Baikonur cosmodrome, scheduled for July 14, 2026, where a concert by the rock band Earthlings will take place at the time of the launch of the Soyuz MS-29 manned spacecraft. The initiative will combine space tourism, a scientific and educational program, music and a significant industry event — the only manned launch of this year.

The agreement signed at the SPIEF will become the basis for the further implementation of annual projects within the framework of Space Week, the creation of joint content and events aimed at popularizing cosmonautics and achievements of Russian science.
