VTB signed new cooperation agreements at SPIEF
VTB Bank has signed two new cooperation agreements within the framework of SPIEF 2026. The documents aimed at developing the Arctic zone and increasing the efficiency of industrial production were signed by Valery Lukyanenko, Deputy President and Chairman of the VTB Management Board. This was announced by the bank's press service.
VTB has concluded one of the agreements with the Arkhangelsk region. The document was signed by Valery Lukyanenko and the governor of the region, Alexander Tsybulsky.
The agreement provides for the bank's participation in the implementation of major projects of the government of the Arkhangelsk Region in the Arctic zone. We are talking about infrastructure and investment initiatives, including the development of ports along the Northern Sea Route, the modernization of shipbuilding, forestry and woodworking industries, the construction of roads and energy facilities, the development of the extractive industry and the development of new mineral deposits. In addition, VTB will provide advisory and information services to regional authorities in the banking, investment and financial sectors.
"The development of the Arctic is one of the priorities of Russia's state policy. Along with the need to develop the enormous economic potential of the territory, the priority task for the state is to improve the quality of life of citizens living in the Arctic, which is almost 3 million people. VTB is actively involved in this work, including in the Arkhangelsk region," said Valery Lukyanenko.
"Today, the Arkhangelsk Region faces large-scale tasks related to the development of the Arctic, the Northern Sea Route, transport and social infrastructure, as well as the tourism potential of the region. Their solution is impossible without reliable financial partners who are ready to participate in long-term projects and offer modern banking tools. That is why our cooperation with VTB Bank is reaching a new level," said Alexander Tsybulsky.
VTB has signed another agreement with the United Engine Corporation. The document was signed by Valery Lukyanenko and UEC CEO Alexander Grachev.
"In the current economic conditions, key industrial enterprises are mobilizing all available internal resources and looking for new approaches to work. A reliable financial partner is always needed to implement projects for internal transformation and increase production efficiency. VTB's ability to quickly solve the most complex tasks and offer new non—standard products, its understanding of the specifics of UEC holding's work and its long-term experience working together on key projects for our country determine the bank's status as a strategic partner of UEC," said Valery Lukyanenko.
"VTB Bank has been our partner for many years and provides a full range of financial support services for UEC activities. The engine corporation's cooperation with one of Russia's leading banks contributes to achieving common goals, solving problems and implementing the most important projects in the industry. I am confident that fruitful work will continue under the new agreement, which will allow us to continue to achieve high results," said Alexander Grachev.
