More than 80 modern chemistry classrooms will be added to the renovated schools in Moscow as part of the My School program. This was announced on Thursday, June 4, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in the Maks messenger.

According to him, the new classrooms will be designed not only for studying theory, but also for conducting practical exercises and research. They will be equipped with zones for individual and group work, separate laboratory rooms and sets of chemical reagents, including 101 elements, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

Sobyanin also noted that each classroom will be equipped with GIA laboratories necessary for performing the practical part of the OGE and the Unified State Exam in chemistry. According to the mayor, equipping schools with modern equipment will help improve the quality of the educational process and meet the objectives of the national Youth and Children project, Moscow 24 notes.
