ROSSETI and ROSATOM to expand partnership in the field of energy solutions
ROSSETI and Rosatom have signed a roadmap setting out long-term goals and key areas of cooperation. The document was signed by Andrey Murov, First Deputy General Director of ROSSETI, and Kirill Komarov, First Deputy General Director and Director of the Development and International Business Unit of ROSATOM State Corporation.
The roadmap provides for cooperation, including in the field of energy storage systems, renewable energy sources, as well as the introduction of direct current and high-temperature superconductivity technologies. The parties will pay special attention to exploring the possibilities of joint promotion of Russian technologies in foreign markets. It is planned to form a comprehensive offer for foreign partners, combining the competencies of both companies. In particular, ROSSETI Group will provide audit and development of schemes for the development of the grid complex, design and engineering of infrastructure facilities, supply of equipment and staff training.
ROSSETI and ROSATOM have long-term fruitful cooperation. The roadmap signed today takes our partnership to a new level. It will allow combining the competencies of the two leading companies in the energy market to create new high-tech projects that will be in demand on both Russian and international markets," said Murov.
Komarov, in turn, stressed that "the signing of the roadmap is an important milestone in cooperation between the two backbone companies in developing Russia's energy infrastructure and increasing the competitiveness of domestic solutions in foreign markets." "The competencies of Rosseti and Rosatom complement each other organically, and combining technological potential and managerial experience will allow us to consolidate efforts and respond more effectively to global challenges," he added.
The roadmap was prepared following the results of the strategic session of the ROSSETI Group and the ROSATOM State Corporation, held in Moscow in April 2026.
