Bank ROSSIYA will direct resources to the development of PPP and investments in the Kaluga region

On June 4, Bank ROSSIYA and the government of the Kaluga Region agreed to cooperate at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The agreement was signed by Alexander Shalenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Bank ROSSIYA, and Vladislav Shapsha, Governor of the Kaluga Region.

The signing of the agreement was preceded by a working meeting, where the parties discussed in detail the possibilities of cooperation. The meeting was also attended by Konstantin Gorobtsov, First Deputy Governor of the Kaluga Region, Dmitry Razumovsky, Deputy Governor of the Kaluga Region, Anna Koroleva, Minister of Economic Development and Industry of the Kaluga Region, as well as representatives of the bank.

Under the agreement, the parties will pool financial and credit resources to accelerate the socio-economic growth of the Kaluga Region. The priority is the launch and support of investment projects, including public-private partnership mechanisms, the active introduction of modern banking technologies and banking infrastructure, as well as the expansion of lending to local businesses and residents of the region.

What else did the participants discuss on the first day of the forum and what do the guests expect from the main economic event of the year?

On the same day, Bank ROSSIYA signed a cooperation agreement with Rossiya Airlines. The partnership unites several significant areas at once: from cash settlement services, documentary operations, and investment banking services to attracting financing, participating in public-private partnership projects, and implementing sustainable development programs.
