The Minister of Architecture and Construction of Crimea, Eduard Shchegolev, inspected the progress of work on the restoration of the cultural heritage site of the late 19th century.
IA SevastopolMedia, with reference to the Republican Ministry of Construction, clarifies that the building on Aivazovsky Avenue is being restored. Specialists are working on restoring ceiling paintings, repairing parquet and doors, and setting up engineering systems, including power supply and low-current networks.
The main works are planned to be completed by June 15. The facility is scheduled to be put into operation in December. The Ministry draws attention to the fact that special attention is paid to the preservation of the historical appearance of the architectural monument during the restoration.
Earlier it was reported that the Rodina cinema, which is one of the oldest cinemas in Crimea, which was opened in 1910 and was called "Montpepos", will be restored in Sevastopol. The cultural center is located on the Balaklava embankment. The building is a cultural heritage site.
