Six forest fires were extinguished in a day in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Six forest fires have been extinguished in the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the past 24 hours. Their total area was 78.4 hectares.

Foci were recorded in the Usolsky, Krasnoyarsk, Borsky, Motyginsky and Chunsky forestry districts. 142 people and 11 pieces of equipment fought the fire.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, three more forest fires are currently being observed in the territory of the region, with an area of 46 hectares. The forest is burning in the Ridge and Motyginsky forestry districts.

The authorities claim to be in control of the situation, but there is no threat to human settlements.

At the end of May, it was reported that employees of Zabaikalleskhoz were cleaning and updating mineralized strips on the territory of the Karymsky forestry. Such stripes help to stop the spread of fire in forest fires. They represent a barrier created by exposing the mineral layer of the forest area soil.
