A glass factory will be built in the Khabarovsk Territory. Its capacity will be 250 million glass products per year. This will provide glass containers to manufacturers from all over the Far Eastern Federal District.

According to IA AmurMedia with reference to the governor's press service, it is planned to form a raw material base and create stable flows of glass waste that can be used to make glass for containers.

According to Governor Dmitry Demeshin, the regional authorities are ready to join the first stage, which includes the construction of a production complex, including technological lines for the processing of glass waste and the processing of recycled polymers for the production of eco-pallets. After that, the second stage will begin — the construction of the glass factory itself.

The Governor met with Anton Mohr, CEO of Siberian Glass LLC, as part of the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. They signed a cooperation agreement to create a modern waste recycling infrastructure in the region.

The aim of the project is to reduce the negative impact on the environment, which corresponds to the goals of the national project "Environmental Well—being". Thanks to the implementation of the project, it will be possible to reduce the disposal of glass and hard-to-decompose plastic at landfills, and the waste will be recycled.

At the end of January, it was reported that three microelectronics plants would be built in the Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories. Projects will receive special support measures, more than in the TOP (Priority Development Territories) regime. Agreements have already been reached between companies ready to implement projects and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
