The PSB assessed the economic potential of inclusion
Inclusion today is a new form of sustainable business development that combines social impact and economic potential, said Vera Podguzova, Senior Vice President and Director of External Relations at the SPIEF 2026 session "Inclusion as a strategic Resource: combining the efforts of the state, business and society."
"Inclusion should become an integral part of the corporate strategy and the overall business culture, and as one of the largest banks in the country, we do not separate commercial and social topics — we combine them, since both are aimed at developing human capital, strengthening trust in our activities and increasing the stability of the bank," Vera Podguzova said.
According to her, the PSB pays special attention to creating an accessible financial infrastructure for people with disabilities. "About 80% of the bank's offices in Moscow and the Moscow region are equipped with ramps, contrast navigation and sound warning systems," explained Podguzova. Inclusion is also important in the daily work of employees. 1.5% of PSB employees belong to the category of citizens with special needs. Employees of the PSB offices are trained in the skills of working with clients with disabilities and the elderly.
"A special mission for us is to deploy a banking network in the liberated territories as soon as possible. In the historical regions, together with the Center for Communication Technologies, a project has been launched to serve customers with hearing impairments," Vera Podguzova said.
Vera Podguzova called the work of the PSB with military veterans, including the issuance of an electronic identification card "SVOi", another tool contributing to inclusion. The PSB has issued more than 324,000 "Own" cards, 88,000 of them on the territory of historical regions.
