PSB and Rossiya Airlines will cooperate in the field of civil aviation development

As part of the SPIEF 2026 business program, PSB and Rossiya Airlines have agreed on strategic cooperation. The agreement was signed by Oleg Minaev, First Deputy Chairman of the PSB, and Jan Burg, CEO of Rossiya Airlines.

The agreement establishes the intention of the parties to develop long-term cooperation in the field of banking services and the implementation of joint financial solutions. Among the priority areas is cooperation in the field of financing, as well as joint work on improving the efficiency of the airline's debt portfolio structure and optimizing it, the bank explained.

According to the PSB, the agreement provides for both classic loan solutions and the possibility of the bank's participation as an investor in the airline's debt instruments. In addition, PSB will participate in the procurement procedures of Rossiya Airlines to provide bank guarantees and arrange financing for the implementation of current and prospective carrier projects.

Minaev called the signing of the agreement an important step in the development of partnership with the airline. "We will build a comprehensive support system that will lay a solid foundation for the implementation of large-scale strategic initiatives. Our partnership is a significant contribution to strengthening the national aviation infrastructure and Russian civil aviation," said the Deputy Chairman of the PSB.

"Signing the agreement with PSB is a significant step in the implementation of our long—term financial strategy. The fact that the cooperation involves the bank's participation as an investor opens up new opportunities for ensuring the financial stability of the airline and implementing plans for innovative and sustainable development," Burg stressed.
