Moscow residents were offered to make short films about the capital.
Residents of the Russian capital were invited to participate in the short film festival "Moscow. Stories. People." According to the organizers, everyone can make a film about outstanding personalities, sights, culture, modern development and heritage of the city.
The collection of applications for participation in the festival, which is being held for the first time, is already open. According to Marina Prozorova, deputy head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow, activists came up with the idea to organize the competition. The best works will be presented at the Mosfilm Cinema and Concert complex at the end of summer.
Anyone over the age of 18 can become a participant. No special equipment is needed for shooting — just a smartphone. The film should have a key theme and title, and a running time of five to seven minutes. Finished works are accepted until July 1 in the community "Public Advisers of Moscow" on the social network "VKontakte".
The works will be evaluated by an expert jury, which will include actors, directors, cameramen and other experts. The laureates will be awarded diplomas and memorable prizes.
Activists of the capital's Territory of Opportunity ecosystem proposed holding the festival. The event was organized by the Moscow Center for Civic Engagement and the City Council of Public Advisers.
