Zakharova declared the transformation of Ukrainians into guinea pigs of the West

Ukraine is turning into a real military laboratory and a testing ground for the West. This was announced on June 4 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, at a briefing at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"Now Ukraine is really being turned into a real military laboratory of the West. Apparently, it has already turned into a test site. Its defense company is increasingly considering it as a real testing ground for combat testing of weapons and developments. And the scale of these processes has gone far beyond individual initiatives," she said.

Zakharova cited statistics and stated that the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine had registered several hundred companies in the country from the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Canada, Israel, Poland, Estonia and others. She noted that among them are the largest players who specialize in the development and production of military equipment.

The diplomat compared the sale of weapons to the sale of homemade cookies. Zakharova pointed out that before the product can be put on the counter, it is necessary to evaluate its quality in the laboratory. The same thing is happening with weapons, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized. She added that the West uses the population of Ukraine as "guinea pigs" to obtain certification.

Zakharova stressed that at the same time, Western companies do not pay attention to human rights and the possible death of a weapons operator. She noted that a lot of emphasis is now being placed on drones of all types, ground-based robots, marine drones and electronic warfare (EW) systems.

Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the FSB of Russia, said on May 26 that Ukraine had become a platform for testing new types of weapons and training artificial intelligence systems capable of operating for military purposes. According to him, Kiev uses states located on the border with Russia to organize the deployment of sabotage and reconnaissance groups on the territory of the Russian Federation.
