The technopark status for the Phystechpark site in the Moscow district of Severny has been extended for another 10 years, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

He recalled that Phystechpark became one of the first technoparks to receive tax benefits in 2016. "He specializes in information and communication technologies, scientific research and innovative developments in the field of high technologies," Sobyanin wrote on his channel in Maks.

Currently, Phystechpark has 65 resident companies and over a thousand. In particular, the residents of the technopark are the software developer Cyberprotect; the BITRU company, which develops software and automates business processes; and Kollovar, a developer of a platform for digital transformation of enterprises.

According to the mayor, in the next 10 years he plans to modernize the technopark's infrastructure "to scale innovative projects, develop artificial intelligence technologies and breakthrough scientific developments."

Currently, there are 53 technoparks in Moscow. Since 2016, investments in their development have amounted to about 198 billion rubles. About 13 rubles of private investment account for 1 ruble of tax benefits.

In January, Sobyanin announced that in 2025 the total area of the capital's technoparks had been expanded to 2.7 million square meters. m. He called the creation of 5 million square meters by 2030 a strategic goal. m for innovative industries.

Last year, four new sites were put into operation: NTV, ZIL, Ryabinovaya 44 and STMP Zelenograd. In 2025, six sites received the status of a technopark and an investment priority project (IPP) for their creation. Among them are NITSEVT (Rostec Group of Companies), SNIIP (Rosatom State Corporation), Medtechmoskva and Dom Legprom.
