Aeroflot and VK have agreed on strategic cooperation. The corresponding memorandum was signed by Sergey Alexandrovsky, CEO of Aeroflot PJSC, and Vladimir Kiriyenko, CEO of VK, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

As part of the signed agreement, the companies plan to develop, implement and jointly promote digital products.

A separate area of cooperation is the improvement of Aeroflot's business processes using VK Tech's VK Business Analytics solution. The project includes the creation of a process analytics system, the development of a methodology and the achievement of target metrics for optimizing processes.

VK will provide Aeroflot with access to advertising and marketing platforms to promote the airline's services and work with customers. The companies will jointly develop AI tools and solutions based on big data to improve the quality of customer experience.

Aeroflot intends to use MAX's business tools: a mini-app and a chatbot to develop an information channel and provide new opportunities for passengers.

The first practical step within the framework of the memorandum was the signing of an agreement with VK Digital Technologies LLC. Aeroflot PJSC and VK Digital Technologies LLC, a company affiliated with the Russian technology corporation VK, will jointly implement innovative business intelligence tools.

Ilya Perfiliev, Deputy General Director for Personnel and Organizational Development of PJSC Aeroflot, and Pavel Gontarev, General Director of VK Digital Technologies LLC, signed the agreement on the implementation of the Process Mining project on the sidelines of the SPIEF.

The goal of the project is to provide an advanced level of digitalization in the business processes of the largest Russian airline through the implementation of an up—to-date solution.

Process Mining or process analytics is a strategic initiative of Aeroflot aimed at improving the efficiency of key processes. The result is achieved through data-based management and digital footprint analysis. The expected effect is to increase the operational efficiency of the business and create a culture of continuous improvement based on accurate and systematic data.

The partnership of the companies will combine the industry expertise of Aeroflot PJSC and the technical potential of VK Digital Technologies LLC, creating the basis for the implementation of advanced business solutions in the country's aviation industry.

During a speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026) on June 3, Stepan Kovalchuk, Senior Vice President for Media Strategy and Development of VK Services, said that a daily audience of about 8 million people is forming around children's content in VK Video, while significantly fewer users watch educational content than bloggers, TV series and cartoons.
