A new program is being developed in Russia to provide preferential conditions for the purchase of a car for large families. This was stated on June 4 by Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova at the session "Big family — big reach. New Demographics and Narratives for Media Managers" at the SPIEF.

The deputy drew attention to the fact that the new rules for calculating the recycling tax also affected large families, as they often need to use large cars, TASS reports.

Kuznetsova noted that due to rising car prices, an appeal was prepared to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with a request to create a program for large families that would allow them to get a car in installments, on preferential terms. The ministry replied that such a program is being developed, the deputy shared.

The parliamentarian also noted that the Russian Federation already has a program with benefits for the purchase of cars for large families, but it turned out to be ineffective, the figures were small.

Earlier, on April 30, it was reported that LDPR deputies had drafted a bill envisaging the abolition of the recycling fee for combat veterans, large families, group I disabled people, as well as families with disabled children.
