Bank ROSSIYA to join the St. Petersburg Unified Card project
Bank ROSSIYA will join the St. Petersburg Unified Card project. The corresponding agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum between Bank ROSSIYA and the Government of St. Petersburg.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mikhail Klishin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank ROSSIYA, and Alexander Beglov, Governor of St. Petersburg.
"St. Petersburg is our Bank's hometown. It was here that it was founded and has been consistently involved in its socio-economic development for many years. We actively support significant city initiatives and projects. The signed agreement opens up new opportunities for combining the efforts of business and government in the interests of the residents of St. Petersburg. We hope that our participation, including in the Unified Map of St. Petersburg project, will make city services and financial instruments even more convenient and accessible to city residents," said Mikhail Klishin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank ROSSIYA.
The document provides for the pooling of resources in the financial and credit sphere, for the socio-economic development of the Northern Capital, as well as the joining of Bank ROSSIYA to the St. Petersburg Unified Card project.
"Joint Stock Bank ROSSIYA is one of the base banks for the government of St. Petersburg. We have many joint projects. I would like to remind you that the revival of the legendary alumni holiday in 2005 was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Government of St. Petersburg and ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank. And for more than 20 years, "Scarlet Sails" has been the same hallmark of the city as the SPIEF. Today we are expanding our cooperation and will jointly develop digital technologies within the framework of the flagship project of digital maps of the inhabitant "Unified map of St. Petersburg". The ECP is issued on the basis of the MIR payment system in the 5 largest banks in the country, and we are pleased that such a powerful player as Bank ROSSIYA will join them," said Governor Alexander Beglov.
The Government of the DPR, Bank ROSSIYA and Miranda signed a memorandum of cooperation. The trilateral memorandum was signed on June 3 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The main objective of the agreement is to create favorable conditions for the implementation of the national project on digital transformation of the state.
