Reuters reported on the return of Druzhba oil supplies to normal levels.

In May 2026, the pumping of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline to Hungary and Slovakia reached a "normal" level, the volume amounted to 165 thousand barrels per day. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on June 4, citing industry sources.

"Oil exports from Russia to Hungary and Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline in May were restored to normal levels of 165,000 barrels per day," the material says.

According to the newspaper, Hungary and Slovakia began receiving oil on April 23, and its volume at that time was only 55 thousand barrels per day. Despite the increase in supplies in May, the current figures are lower than the previous ones, which amounted to 200-235 barrels per day.

On April 23, Slovakia's Minister of Economy Denisa Sakova announced the resumption of oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline after a three-month break. It is noted that the oil supply is carried out according to the schedule. The minister noted that the Ukrainian side began filling the pipeline from Belarus on Wednesday morning.
