The head of the Italian Business Association expressed a great desire to return to the Russian market.

There are as many Italian companies willing to resume cooperation with Russia after normalization of relations with the European Union (EU) as there are "stars in the sky." This was announced on June 4 by Vittorio Torrembini, President of the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs (GIM Unimpresa) in Russia.

"How many stars are there in the sky," Torrembini said in response to a RIA Novosti question about how many companies are waiting for the restoration of EU relations with Russia and want to work with Russia.

According to him, the Italian business is ready to resume cooperation with the normalization of the political and economic climate.

Markus Fronmeier, deputy head and foreign policy expert of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) faction in the Bundestag, said on June 4 that a German delegation had arrived at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) to discuss the working conditions of about 1.5 thousand German companies in Russia.

On May 30, the head of the Association of European Businesses (AEB), Tadzio Schilling, noted that when European companies return to Russia, all cooperation should start from scratch. He added that his colleagues and entrepreneurs from the EU remain positive about the prospects for cooperation with Moscow.
