Finland could have shot down the Ukrainian drones that were flying to St. Petersburg if they violated the country's airspace. This was announced on June 3 by the country's Defense Minister Antti Hyakkanen.
"Air and sea traffic was somewhat restricted in the areas of Porvoo and Lappeenranta, and our fleet was maintained in sufficient combat readiness," Ilta-Sanomat newspaper quoted him as saying.
