The new Prime Minister of Latvia, Andris Kulbergs, invited his fellow citizens to choose Latgale for their holidays, where incidents with Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have become more frequent. This was reported on June 3 by the Latvian agency LETA.
According to Kulbergs, if Latvian residents spend their holidays in Latgale, the local population will be able to feel support from the rest of society. He also promised to go to the region with his family as soon as he has a free day for this.
