Zakharova said the West was trapped by inaction on Ukraine

Western European capitals are aware of the fallacy of their inaction on the issue of the Ukrainian settlement. This was announced on Thursday, June 4, by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"Western European capitals see and monitor Washington's activity and understand that they have got into an absolute mess with their Russophobic inaction on the issue of resolving the situation, they are trying to catch up, jump on the departing train and do it so clumsily and so openly cynically lying," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
