The U.S. House of Representatives has put to the vote a bill to tighten sanctions against Russia and step up aid to Ukraine. The meeting was broadcast on June 3 on the YouTube channel of the lower house of the American legislature.

The initiative was supported by 218 congressmen, while 204 legislators voted against it. A minimum of 218 votes were required for approval.
