Rubio announced the work of the United States on new sanctions against Russia

On June 3, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the White House administration is working on a bill providing for the introduction of new sanctions against Russia.

"The White House Office of Legal Counsel is working at the interagency level with Senator Graham's office (listed as a terrorist and extremist in Russia) on the details of this bill, giving feedback on those provisions that would be acceptable to us. The president outlined and gave his consent to this," he said during a hearing in the US House of Representatives.
