Karl Marx Street to be put in order in Krasnoyarsk

Karl Marx Street will be completely renovated in Krasnoyarsk in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city. A search has been announced for a contractor to carry out design and survey work, according to the public procurement website.

The work will be carried out from Vokzalnaya Street to the bridge on Belinsky Street across the Kacha River. The length of the site will be 3.8 km.

According to the mayor's office, the plans include the creation of a barrier-free environment using tiles and paving stones, the construction of a bike path and parking lots for scooters.

It is also necessary to develop lighting and landscaping schemes, remove electrical wiring and utilities underground. In addition, it is necessary to consider the placement of benches, garden furniture, pergolas and decorative arches.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the results of the auction will be announced at the end of June. The initial contract price is 32.5 million rubles.

Earlier it was reported that the Silver Square, which was previously landscaped under the federal program, will be renovated in Krasnoyarsk. The current work will be timed to coincide with the anniversary of the regional capital.
