On the first day of the SPIEF, Kostroma Region Governor Sergey Sitnikov signed three investment agreements at once

The enterprises of the region, with the support of the region, plan to invest almost 800 million rubles in the expansion of production.

Kostroma region is the recognized Jewelry capital of Russia, the region produces more than 50% of the country's jewelry. And the first signed agreement was with a jewelry company. Imperial LLC is one of the actively developing enterprises of the Kostroma region. It produces jewelry made of gold, silver and platinum, both in the mass segment and in the premium class. As part of the investment project, the company is organizing a modern multifunctional jewelry production at one of Kostroma's industrial sites.

The agreement with Ortat JSC is aimed at developing the pharmaceutical industry. The largest pharmaceutical company in the region has been operating in the Russian pharmaceutical market for more than 35 years. The plant produces 2 million packages of medicines annually, with an assortment of 60 types of medicines, and import substitution is developing. As part of the project, the company plans to organize new production sites, which will strengthen drug import dependence.

Kostroma-based Trans Logistics LLC will build a modern logistics center in Kostroma. As the governor Sergey Sitnikov noted, the region has logistical specifics. The western border is only 20 km away, and the eastern border is 500 km away. The project will strengthen the logistics infrastructure of the region, greatly simplify the delivery of necessary goods and increase the investment attractiveness. All projects will receive preferences from the region. From tax benefits to allocation of land plots.

"For quite a long time, we have been forming a package of regional laws and regulations that allow us to provide support measures today. And first of all, of course, these are tax incentives and the allocation of land for the development of production," commented Sergey Sitnikov.

Each of the companies is implementing more than one investment project with the support of the region. It would have been very difficult to do this without the support of the region and the personal involvement of Governor Sergei Sitnikov, the heads of enterprises say.
