A temporary bridge over the Gdovka River will be built in the Pskov region. The work is carried out within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

The works will be carried out on 117 km of the Pskov—Gdov—Slantsy—Kingisepp—Krakolye road. The construction of a temporary bridge is required for major repairs of the main structure. This is reported by the Pskov news feed.

The bridge will be installed on a pile foundation. As part of the overhaul, paving will also be carried out on the approaches to the structure and drainage from the roadway will be organized. Barrier and railing fences will be installed on the bridge for safety.

The Ministry of Transport and Road Management stressed that the bridge under repair is important for the region. The road is part of the backbone network of the region and connects the Pskov and Leningrad regions.
