More than 2.3 thousand residents of the Murmansk region became infected with SARS in a week

Over the past week, more than 2.3 thousand residents of the Murmansk region have contracted acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). Almost half of the cases are children.

According to the Bi-port news agency, four cases of coronavirus infection have been registered. In addition, isolated cases of influenza have been identified.

Residents of the region are reminded that in conditions of the circulation of respiratory viruses, preventive measures should be followed, including washing hands more often, ventilating rooms and avoiding contact with the sick.

According to Rospotrebnadzor estimates, in May, the incidence rates in Russia dropped to summer levels. Last season, the incidence was lower than a year earlier.
