"Eugene Onegin", 6+

Director: Yuri Temirkanov
Like Pushkin, who called Eugene Onegin a novel in verse rather than a poem, Tchaikovsky also chose a non—standard genre for his masterpiece - "lyrical scenes" instead of classical opera. The premiere at the Mariinsky took place back in 1982, when the theater was officially called Kirovsky. As soon as the play appeared on the poster, it was immediately called an impeccable model. The Mariinsky Theatre performance will feature opera soloists, the Bolshoi Theatre choir and orchestra.

Another author's look at Chekhov's most famous play. The beginning of the 20th century, the change of epochs and the world order, the noble estate, the "esteemed wardrobe" and even the Jewish orchestra — Grymov has everything like Anton Pavlovich. The author's text has been preserved, and the original director's decisions make the production unlike any other.

"When the nightingales sing", 16+
Suzdal has long been a tourist mecca, but this summer the city is offering a new art route. The Mira creative community and the Soyuz project have opened an exhibition by Vladimir artist Lucy Solovyova (LU), who is also famous abroad: in 2025, her work was shown in Monaco. "When the Nightingales Sing" is an attempt to rethink the relationship between cultural institutions and the local community. At three venues — the Mira Center, the Casket, and the Aquarium — Suzdal ceases to be a postcard and reveals itself in the faces and intonations of everyday life.
At one point, among the portraits of locals, a large table is supported on 58 legs: each refers to one of the churches, including five lost ones. In the drawer is a book with touchingly embroidered local recipes.
The "casket" is located in a hut, where everything is traditionally built around a stove — here it is made of fancy ceramic tiles.
The Aquarium is the most meditative point: a space resembling a conventional city square with a fountain, where images of local fauna and characters from the artist's works meet. As a result, instead of a museum distance, a lively conversation develops, where the past and present are intertwined and turn the experience into a personal, almost physical one.
May 30 — August 7, Suzdal

"On legs", 16+
The starting point of the project was the image of a hut on chicken legs as an archetypal portal between worlds. It reveals itself in a broad cultural perspective — from folklore to 20th-century architecture, including the modernist principles of the famous French architect Le Corbusier. Visitors will find the space of "crooked mirrors" with installations and performances from iconic authors Konstantin Zvezdochetov, Aminadav Kanevsky, Misha Le Zhen and other artists.
Until July 19, New Holland (Saint Petersburg)
