135,720 incubation eggs from Uzbekistan were brought back to Krasnoyarsk to raise chickens. The shipment passed veterinary control, the press service of the regional Rosselkhoznadzor administration reported on Wednesday, June 3.

Eggs, in particular, were tested for Newcastle disease, salmonellosis and infectious bronchitis. The inspectors of the department also carried out their wet disinfection.

No violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union have been identified. After the inspection, the eggs were shipped to one of the poultry farms.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, a total of eight batches of incubation eggs have been delivered to the region from Uzbekistan since the beginning of 2026. The total number was more than 1 million units.

Earlier it was reported that American scientists were able to breed chickens from a completely artificial egg. The egg itself was made using the 3D printing method.
