The Days of Historical and Cultural Heritage have ended in Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, June 3, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, almost a thousand events were held as part of the campaign, which were attended by more than 20 thousand people. According to him, residents and visitors of the city had the opportunity to see the interiors of about 300 historical buildings, including recently renovated facilities and those that are usually closed to the public. The program traditionally includes historical mansions where diplomatic missions are located, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

Sobyanin noted that this year, for the first time, the Central Museum of the Russian Cossacks, the mansion of Vasily Leman and the Nosenkov — Balin estate were opened to visitors. In addition, at the request of Muscovites, children's restoration workshops were organized, as well as guided tours in new formats — photo walks, fitness routes and food tours.

Separately, the mayor highlighted the action "Weekend with Heritage", which took place in the renovated Depot complex. Lesnaya". About 70 events were held there, including lectures and creative workshops.

Sobyanin stressed that, despite the completion of the Heritage Days, it is possible to get acquainted with the historical appearance of Moscow throughout the year, writes Moscow 24.
