In Sevastopol, almost 300 non-stationary retail facilities have been dismantled since the beginning of 2026. The stalls were set up without permission, the press service of the regional government reported on Wednesday, June 3.

So, the other day, the activities of three illegal pavilions on General Ostryakov Avenue were stopped. They provided financial services and sold ready-made food. Earlier, official instructions were sent to the owners to bring the business back on track, but the demand was ignored.

As the authorities explained, the fight against illegal retail outlets is not only a matter of compliance with administrative regulations, but also concern for the health and safety of citizens.

According to the SevastopolMedia news agency, 13 retail markets, 105 fairgrounds for direct sales from manufacturers and more than 1,500 officially registered NTO locations are legally operating in the city.

Earlier it was reported that Russia will introduce uniform rules for stalls and kiosks located on private territory. The relevant bill was adopted by the State Duma. The new standards will ensure the necessary sanitary and fire safety requirements, as well as protect the rights of consumers.
