The victim of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on a bus in the DPR told about the moment of the explosion

A bus attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) caught fire shortly after the drone strike. In a conversation with Izvestia on June 3, one of the victims said that he could not open his eyes at the time of the explosion — he had to get out of the transport with someone else's help.

"I was asleep at the time of the explosion. I couldn't even open my eyes from the explosion. I couldn't hear anything. I started crawling out, and a man met me at the entrance and then pulled me out of the bus," explained Eres Serin.

He added that the ambulance responded promptly to the incident — shortly after the drone hit, medics arrived at the scene and rushed to the rescue of the victims.

"I was already, one might say, deaf — I thought that either the radio or the TV was working there. The voices sounded like a robot talking, shouting. Then I realized in the ambulance that my eardrum was gone," the man added.

Serin noted that there were children and many elderly people among the passengers. He is currently in a hospital in Gorlovka under medical supervision.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a bus in Yenakiyevo on the same day. According to the latest data, eight people were killed and 11 others were injured. Three suffered severe concussions. The drone hit the roof of the bus, destroying the entire upper part. A criminal case has been opened under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act").

On the same day, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the terrorist attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a bus an act of "manhunt" by Kiev. She added that the West deliberately does not talk about the terrorist attacks committed by Kiev, as this is part of its ideology. According to Zakharova, we are talking about a systematic approach in which the actions of the Ukrainian authorities do not receive condemnation from foreign allies.
