The Government of the DPR, Bank ROSSIYA and Miranda signed a memorandum of cooperation. The trilateral memorandum was signed on June 3 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The main objective of the agreement is to create favorable conditions for the implementation of the national project on digital transformation of the state.

The document was signed by Tatiana Polinko, Chairman of the Management Board of Bank ROSSIYA, Denis Pushilin, Head of the Donetsk People's Republic, and Sergey Mordasov, CEO of Miranda-Media LLC.

According to the memorandum of cooperation, Miranda, for its part, will ensure the formation of the necessary telecom infrastructure in the region, as well as the availability of digital services and services. In turn, Bank ROSSIYA will provide financing for the construction of this infrastructure: base stations, fiber-optic communication lines and other components.

"It is fundamentally important for us that the digital transformation of the state reaches every resident and business. Cooperation to create uninterrupted cellular communications and optical Internet access is the foundation on which the entire data economy is built. As a financial partner, we are ready to commit ourselves to assist in the implementation of a set of measures to ensure that communications on the territory of the DPR are truly reliable," commented Tatiana Polinko, Chairman of the Management Board of Bank ROSSIYA.

"In my opinion, we have become participants in a historic event — the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the government of the DPR, the republic's leading telecom partner and a financial institution. I am sure that digital solutions should address the safety of residents and contribute to improving their comfort. Together we are betting on the development of communications infrastructure and the creation of a developed digital region," said Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People's Republic.

"This document is a specific commitment to the residents of the region. With the support of the DPR government and financing from a credit institution, we will be able to significantly accelerate the modernization of networks, eliminate digital inequality in remote settlements and provide reliable coverage for socially significant facilities. I am confident that this trilateral alliance will become a driver of digitalization of the region's economy and lay a solid foundation for the introduction of the most modern communication standards," said Sergey Mordasov, CEO of Miranda—Media LLC.

On the same day, Bank ROSSIYA and PSB signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of digital rights and digital currencies. Banks are planning joint projects in the field of digital financial instruments, launching pilot initiatives and developing new approaches to the use of digital currencies and CFAs. The key technology partner is the Tokeon platform (part of the PSB group).
