US President Donald Trump confirmed in an interview with The Pod Force One podcast of The New York Post (NYP) that he had previously cursed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a telephone conversation.

"Yes,— Trump said, answering a question about whether he used obscene language against Netanyahu and called him crazy.

According to Bloomberg, the US president was trying to reduce tensions in Lebanon and keep peace talks with Iran "on track." The head of the White House also said that without his actions, Israel would not exist now.

"I was a little worried that he (Netanyahu. — Ed.) is constantly at war with Lebanon. At one point, I said, "Bibi, we have to stop this," Trump added.

The Axios portal reported yesterday that Trump, in a telephone conversation with Netanyahu, sharply criticized his actions in the Middle East, calling the Israeli prime minister "crazy." It was noted that the American leader was concerned about the large number of civilian deaths, as well as the destruction of entire buildings in order to eliminate several commanders of the Shiite Hezbollah movement.
