Hongqi car brand has announced a number of new products for Russia
In 2026, Hongqi plans to introduce a redesigned H5 business sedan in Russia. This was stated by the executive director of the brand in Russia, Ivan Saveliev, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reported on June 3.
According to Saveliev, the Hongqi H5 will receive an exterior and interior upgrade, and the changes are so serious that the car will have to be certified. The engine and transmission will remain the same.
Currently, the five-meter Hongqi H5 sedan is offered in Russia in two trim levels at a price of 4.28 million and 4.63 million rubles. The model is equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 218 hp, front-wheel drive.
In addition, according to Saveliev, the HS3 and HS5 crossovers are expected to be updated in 2027, as well as the new HS6 PHEV hybrid model. Last year, the latter set a Guinness World record for plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV), covering 2,327 km without refueling or recharging.
Earlier, on May 28, it was reported that the new Hongqi Guoya executive sedan went on sale in Russia. The price of the new product starts from 27.7 million rubles, and the older package will cost 31.7 million rubles. The 3.0-liter V6 engine (326 hp, 570 Nm) accelerates the sedan to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, while the more expensive version with a 4.0 V8 engine (476 hp, 680 Nm) will accelerate from zero to "hundreds" in 4.5 seconds.
