Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan failed to launch a white dove into the sky as a symbol of peace after two attempts at a meeting with voters on June 3.

The situation occurred in Gegharkunik region, where Pashinyan, at a meeting with voters, even on the second attempt, could not launch a white dove into the sky as a symbol of peace.

The bird was handed to him, and he threw it into the air twice, but both attempts were unsuccessful. The first time, Pashinyan managed to catch a falling bird, the second time it landed on its own, after which it was returned to its owner.

On May 18, during a campaign rally, Pashinyan shouted at a Karabakh Armenian woman who had entered into a dispute with him, promising to "bend and destroy" his political opponents. The woman said that he "stole her homeland, destroyed an entire younger generation, took away her children and brother."
