PSB and MFC of St. Petersburg will develop digital infrastructure

PSB Bank and the MFC of St. Petersburg (SPb GKU "MFC") signed a memorandum of intent on the development of digital and information infrastructure for citizens. The ceremony took place within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum with the participation of Alexey Shchavelev, Senior Vice President, Head of the Retail Business Unit at PSB, and Maxim Alexandrov, Director of the St. Petersburg State University MFC.

According to the bank, "the parties have consolidated their intentions to jointly launch socially significant and infrastructural projects aimed at expanding the formats of interaction with citizens and increasing the availability of banking services and government services, as well as developing new formats of digital services and advising residents."

According to Alexey Shchavelev, this project "has already become an important component of the city and combines government digital services and banking products." "We continue to develop cooperation with the regions and support projects that make the digital financial infrastructure more accessible," he stressed.

In turn, Maxim Alexandrov noted that today the MFC of St. Petersburg provides almost 400 different services for residents and businesses on a one-stop-shop basis. "By expanding the range of banking services provided at the IFC, we strive to save time for St. Petersburg residents who will not need to visit the offices of various institutions," he added.
