In Kabardino-Balkaria, a student managed to defend in court the result of the unified State exam (USE) in physics, which was previously canceled due to suspicions of using a cheat sheet. This was reported on June 3 by RIA Novosti with reference to the court materials.

The exam itself passed without any comments from the observers, and the student did not leave the classroom. However, the State Examination Commission of the republic later examined the video recordings and concluded that the graduate had a piece of paper of an unknown format. Based on this video, the test results were canceled. The student, in turn, insisted that he had not violated the rules, and the commission accepted an ordinary draft as a foreign object.

The court of first instance, after watching the video, could not confirm the presence of cheat sheets in the student. At the same time, the graduate refused to be brought to administrative responsibility under the article on deliberate distortion of exam results due to the lack of corpus delicti.

As a result, the republican court satisfied the plaintiff's claims, declaring the commission's decision illegal and obliging the agency to approve the test scores. The Regional Ministry of Education tried to challenge this verdict, but the appeal and cassation instances upheld the decision.
