Residents of Chelm and Przemysl in Poland offered to return their titles to Kiev.

Residents of the Polish cities of Chelma and Przemysl offered to return the titles of "Savior Cities" received from Ukraine. This was announced on June 3 in a joint statement by the mayors of Chelm, Jakub Banasek and Przemysl, Wojciech Bakun.

"We are receiving questions from residents and journalists about whether cities in this situation should return the title of "Savior City" back - a gesture of protest and a way to draw international attention to what happened," says a Facebook post (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation). The words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
