The Ukrainian AN-12 transport plane, en route to Reykjavik via Chisinau, took off from the closed airport in Chernivtsi. This was reported on June 3 in the air traffic control services of the European Union.
"Despite the fact that the airspace over Ukraine is closed and airports are closed, an An-12 transport aircraft took off from Chernivtsi, which first flew to Chisinau and then headed for Reykjavik," TASS quoted air traffic controllers as saying.
