The official stand of St. Petersburg at SPIEF-2026 is presented
St. Petersburg will present its industrial potential and investment opportunities at one of the most extensive stands at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). This was announced on June 2 by Governor Alexander Beglov.
"St. Petersburg is ready for SPIEF 2026. As the host, we have prepared one of the most extensive booths. The exhibition presents St. Petersburg as the capital of marine and unmanned technologies, a city with advanced industry, a developed social sphere and significant amounts of investment," Beglov wrote on the Maks messenger.
The exhibition will be divided into several thematic sectors. The marine technology zone will house models of the Rimsky-Korsakov container vessel, as well as the crew-less boats Briz and Orkan.
"It is essential that these boats are based on Russian engines and other components," the governor stressed.
On June 2, the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) announced that the Russian IL-114-300 regional aircraft had arrived in St. Petersburg, where it would be presented during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Six manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles will present their modern developments at the forum. The Mayor also highlighted industrial automation and robotics as key areas of the exhibition.
The big SPIEF 2026 business program will begin in St. Petersburg on June 3. Pavilions are already being installed on the site of 20 football fields, where regions and representatives of different countries are preparing to surprise investors from all over the world. For the first time in five years, all participants will not have to take a COVID-19 test. It will be needed only by those who will attend the plenary session. On June 3, St. Petersburg will once again become the point where the big world economy gathers.
