American journalist Candy Owens said on June 2 that French President Emmanuel Macron allegedly tried to put pressure on American leader Donald Trump, linking the issues of the Ukrainian settlement with the demand to stop her investigation into the wife of French President Brigitte Macron.

"Trump called me directly. This is not fiction, this is a true story. I have call records. He called me from Mar-a-Lago, to be exact. Trump said: you know, Macron is needed to sign something on Russia and Ukraine, and Emmanuel says he won't sign it until you stop talking about his wife," she told TASS.

According to her, what happened looks absolutely crazy.

On June 2, Trump called on Owens to stop investigating Brigitte Macron's wife because she allegedly could have been a biological man in the past. The journalist added that she did not agree with the American leader and noted that Trump, in response to her evidence, offered to conclude a deal.
