An M1.2 flare was recorded on the Sun, which lasted five minutes. This was announced on June 2 at the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI "IPG").

"On June 2, at 07:45 Moscow time, an M1.2 (S22E89) flash lasting five minutes was registered in the X—ray range," the institute's website says.

Later, a flash of the penultimate power class was recorded on the Sun.

It is specified that at 13:05 Moscow time, an outbreak of class M1.3 was recorded in the X-ray range, which occurred in the group of spots 4455, located in the N10W00 region.

It is reported that its duration was 31 minutes.

In addition, at 19:50, the third M3.3 flare appeared on the Sun, which lasted 25 minutes.

On May 29, FGBU IPG reported that the first flare of the penultimate power class in a week was recorded in the Sun. Experts noted that this is the first such event since May 22, when a more powerful flare of class M2.4 was recorded on the Sun. Then the phenomenon was accompanied by a plasma release towards the Earth.
