The construction of a new children's polyclinic has been completed in the village of Dalneye in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. The opening ceremony took place on Children's Day, June 1, according to the regional government.

A polyclinic with an area of more than 3 thousand square meters was built on Shebunina Street, 2. It is designed for 120 visits per shift and involves the attachment of 4 thousand young patients.

"A children's hospital has appeared next to the new adult polyclinic in Dalny. There are more and more modern medical centers in our region where people are really comfortable receiving care. This year we are preparing to open four more polyclinics," commented Governor Valery Limarenko.

According to SakhalinMedia news agency, pediatricians' offices, an emergency and pre-medical room, and a diagnostic service were located in the three-story building. The appointment is also conducted by a neurologist, surgeon, allergist, endocrinologist and other specialized specialists.

Earlier it was reported that 40 yards are planned to be put in order in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk this year. The total area of the courtyards where work is planned is 7.6 thousand square meters. m.
