Almost 1.4 billion rubles will be allocated for the reconstruction of the Slingshot berth in Listvyanka

In the Irkutsk region, a contractor has been identified who will reconstruct the Slingshot berth with an access road in the village of Listvyanka on Lake Baikal. This is reported by IA IrkutskMedia with reference to the relevant documentation on the public procurement portal.

The reconstruction work was agreed to be carried out by the Irkutsk company Novo-Stroy. She will have to develop design documentation, carry out survey work and directly reconstruct the Slingshot berth with an access road.

The news agency clarifies that the contractor must prepare the project by March 2027. The reconstruction will take place from May to the end of November 2028. As part of the preparation, underwater technical works, geodetic surveys, depth measurements, and a survey of the coastline and berth will be carried out.

The cost of the contract with the company was 1.38 billion rubles. According to the press service of the regional government, the reconstruction of the pier with the road is included in the federal project "Five Seas and Lake Baikal" of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality".

"Financing from the federal budget in the form of a treasury infrastructure loan was approved for the region at a meeting of the headquarters of the government commission for regional development, which was held by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Russia Marat Khusnullin. The implementation of the project will significantly improve the tourist infrastructure in Listvyanka," commented Governor Igor Kobzev.

According to the Minister of Transport and Road Management Maxim Lobanov, the pier has already passed from federal ownership to the ownership of the region. The berth area is planned to be increased for mooring large ships and ferries, and a charging station for electric vessels will also be built. A waiting room for passengers will be built nearby.
