Almost three dozen schools and kindergartens have been built in Krasnoyarsk in 10 years

Over the past ten years, 28 schools and kindergartens have been built in Krasnoyarsk. This is reported by the city Department of Urban Planning.

Among the constructed facilities is the largest school in the Urals, designed for 1,550 places. It was built in the Bugach microdistrict in 2021. Schools have also appeared in Severny, Vzletka, 8 Marta Street, and two schools in Solnechny at once.

"School projects are becoming more innovative every year. The multimedia system for assembly halls is changing, libraries are becoming coworking spaces, and language labs for learning foreign languages are appearing," the department notes.

Meanwhile, KrasnoyarskMedia news agency writes that at the beginning of this year, a kindergarten built according to fundamentally new standards was commissioned in Pokrovsky. Running tracks and exercise bikes for kids were placed in the building, as well as a room for playing outdoor curling.

Today, the construction of four schools continues in Krasnoyarsk. One of them, in Quiet Dawns, is planned to open this year.
