More than 127 thousand ninth-graders in the capital began to take the OGE
The main period of the OGE for ninth graders has started in Moscow. This was announced on Tuesday, June 2, by the Moscow Department of Education and Science.
More than 127 thousand schoolchildren will take the exams this year. Over 47,000 ninth graders planning to enroll in colleges have chosen a shortened certification format — Russian language and mathematics. According to the agency, there are 20% more such graduates compared to last year. Those who are going to continue their studies in the 10th grade will have to take four exams. The most popular elective subjects were computer science, physics and biology.
On June 2, students take the compulsory math exam. It takes almost four hours to complete the work, and you are allowed to use the ruler and reference materials. The results will be announced no later than June 10, according to the Moscow City News Agency.
The department also noted that the list of subjects that can be taken in computer form has expanded: biology and history have been added to computer science, foreign languages, geography and physics.
Exams in elective subjects will be held on June 5, 6, 16 and 19, and the compulsory OGE in Russian will be held on June 9. The reserve days are scheduled for the period from June 29 to July 6, Moscow 24 notes.
