A German citizen was mobilized in Ukraine
In the Chernivtsi region, the territorial recruitment center (TCC, the equivalent of military enlistment offices in Ukraine) mobilized a German citizen who was stripped of his Ukrainian citizenship in 2017. This was announced on June 2 by Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Georgy Mazurashu.
"A German citizen has been mobilized in the Chernivtsi region," reads the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".
A German citizen came to Ukraine to visit relatives, where he met representatives of the Shopping center. The foreigner showed them his documents, but they detained him anyway, because they considered the man's Ukrainian passport valid.
According to Mazurashu, the mobilized man is already at the training center. It is noted that the German Embassy has already been informed about the incident with a foreign citizen.
Residents of Izmail, Odessa region, chased employees of the shopping mall in mid-May. The published footage shows several men on motorcycles chasing a minibus of the military enlistment office along a country road. According to the newspaper, the staff had to leave through the field.
